Recipe | Frittata

Frittata's are fast becoming mine and Ollys absolute favourite quick and easy meal. The options are endless and it really is fast.

I thought I would share the recipe for those of us who are always in a hurry and either feel like we don't have time to eat or simply snack unhealthily instead!
I am going to share two lots of ingredients, just to show you how really flexible this meal is - and how easy it is to stay healthy even when in a rush.

The recipe is great for your body and is surprisingly filling - what more could you want! You can just use one pan to save on washing up, and can just use whatever you have lying in the fridge.

Also, this could totally be breakfast, lunch or dinner...

Serves: 1 or 2
Total time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

Coconut oil (or other oil if you don't have coconut but I recommend getting it to add to your healthy fats - remember we need to balance our macros!)

Now for 1 person...

2 eggs
1/4 pepper
2 mushrooms
Feta cheese

For 2 people...

4 eggs
2 chicken breasts
1/2 pepper
Small handful of broccoli

Method

Preheat the grill on a high setting.

Place the oil in a small frying pan on the hob and heat on a low/medium.

Literally shove all the 'extra' ingredients in, however you want them - I like the pieces to be really small in a frittata but it is up to you - For one, I put the mushroom and pepper in at this stage; for two, I put the chicken and pepper in.

After the ingredients are cooked, beat up the eggs and add in any spices or herbs you fancy - I usually do black pepper and cayenne pepper.

After about three minutes of frying, add the cheese or tiny broccoli florets on top.

After another three minutes of frying, finish under the grill until golden on top and serve.

& enjoy!

Fashion | Halloween edit

None of us like to admit it, but it's time to face facts and realise we are now adults, eeeeek. So perhaps dressing up as a full blown pumpkin, a zombie bride ("ex-wife") or the ever so scary bunny is no longer something we can do.

But everyone loves a themed outfit so here are my top picks for us 'adults' this Halloween...

Missguided have a halloween range and with the code 'booyah' you can get 20% off anything right now; ASOS also have a huge range with some really cute accessories; including temporary tattoos. New Look and Topshop have some kind of spooky looking clothing which is totally re-wearable throughout the whole of AW15.

1st Blogiversary

I cannot believe my blog is one today!
(fastest year ever)

I first have to thank you all for being so patient with me as I have been completely slacking with the blogging world for the past couple of months - but my life is currently in a massive whirlwind, with one year to go until a real serious turning point for my career.

For those of you who don't know, I am training to be a Chartered Surveyor and there is a LOT of work involved... I am doing my APC which is the most difficult thing I have ever done, as well as a post graduate course and also learning in full time work to be a surveyor and a business owner!

I can't thank you all enough for reading my blog and taking the time to comment on my posts.

Next year is definitely going to be my year though, so stay tuned! I am getting a new camera and other blogging bits for Christmas and then going to get a shiney new computer in March... Should I get a Mac? So hopefully good things are to come!

PS. This is definitely a good excuse for all of us to eat cake, right?

July Look Fantastic Beauty Box

If you've been following my blog you'll know that Look Fantastic were kind enough to give me a 12-month subscription to their beauty box (here) so every month I will be doing an unboxing video and full review on each of the products...

Usually I upload the video at the same time which is why this post is so late... I have been praying my computer will magically fix itself... but shock, it hasn't! So I thought I would get on with my reviews and upload videos at a later date. I will of course post the video over on my twitter page when I finally can upload... or go subscribe to my YouTube channel to never miss out!

My absolute favourite item from this box, which I already know I will buy again is this amazing nude lip pencil from Lord & Berry. I love the colour (its a very dark nude) and it seems to last through a lot! I have been using it regularly already. I am fast becoming a huge fan of Lord & Berry and will definitely be purchasing some more of their products soon! Can you recommend me any more L&B products?

The next item which was a huge winner for me is this clarifying shampoo. As you all know by now, I love hair products in particular and who doesn't need clarifying shampoo from time to time. It was great to try out a different brand to what I usually buy and my hair definitely felt nicer after just one use.

Next was this oil which literally reminds me of that feeling you get after a professional facial. I have never even thought about using a product like this at home which is why these beauty boxes are so good. I loved it but I haven't used it enough to decide if the benefits would be worth buying the product as soon as it runs out but it is definitely a good treat for my skin!

A lip balm is always nice, although as I have mentioned before I get on so much better with the stick forms. This balm smells rather unusual. And now winter is fast approaching in the UK, lip balms are an essential for every day use! Plus, I don't know about you but I am forever loosing my lip balms, they just seem to disappear! The best thing about this balm is that it is not just for your lips! You can put it anywhere... feet, elbows, face... my only problem is I don't get dry skin anymore so this is difficult for me to review but I would definitely recommend you try it if I did have problems with dry skin! Why not.

I love a face wash as much as the next person and this one was totally different to the type of wash I usually go for. I don't think I could say anything bad about this face wash, it definitely did its job but I love my exfoliating wash so much that nothing can seem to compete.

Same product as before, minus the glitter... which deducts one star from my rating. As I think I did say previously, this product would be amazing for those of you who travel a lot and can't take too many products with them.

Thank you, as always Look FantasticThis box gets **** this month from me!

Don't forget the links I provide of each product takes you directly to the Look Fantastic product page where there are always multiple more reviews for you to look at.
